Introducing Moesha Buckholtz, who is better known by her fans as “MO_OX5″. Moesha is an upcoming inspirational female Christian rap artist currently residing in Deerfield Beach, Florida. The upcoming star is by no means ashamed to tell people about her faith, or about her music. The truth of the matter is, Jesus saved her life! And now she wants the whole world to know about it, so that others experience the same glorious transformation she did. Moesha enjoys a lot of things, but there is nothing she loves more than writing music and spreading the good news about her Lord and Savior – Jesus Christ.

Moesha Buckholtz “MO_OX5″ came into this world on June 14, 1998. But, little did she know that a deathly sickness was going to consume her body, causing her to nearly die before she ever had the chance to live. The sickness she encountered was caused by the improper care of her birth mother. However, when God has a plan for your life, not even death itself can hold its grip on you! Moesha not only recovered from her deathly illness, she bounced back stronger than anyone ever expected. And she continues to give God all the glory for saving her!

As the years began to pass by, MO_OX5 began to recognize that God had something special in store for her future. It was no coincidence that her life was preserved as an infant. God had a purpose for saving her. Moesha became filled with the Holy Spirit, and when that happened she began to walk out God’s plan for her life. During the course of her journey, she developed a strong passion for music, not knowing that it was actually going to be a life raft that would save her through some of the darkest times of her life. But where on earth did this musical passion come from? Well, the truth is it derived from her other family members. Growing up, Moesha witnessed her mom constantly singing around their home. And her other siblings also had various musical gifts and abilities. Such as playing the keyboard and jamming on the drums. Through this melodically permeated atmosphere, Moesha developed a sincere love for music. Over the years, she also learned how to play the drums. And now she plays them every week at New beginnings Worship Center. Which is the same church she’s been going to since she was a toddler.

One of the newest songs written by the singer/songwriter “MO_OX5” is titled “TESTIMONY”. The title of the song seemed to be a statement regarding her faith. But, we wanted to be sure before we started writing a story about it. So, we reached out to Moesha hoping to obtain some personal perspective regarding her new single. Once we were able to contact her, we quickly gained some insight as to what the song was about. She told us that: “The song “TESTIMONY” is the story surrounding the events of my early life as a new born baby. The lyrics speak to the reality that I could have died before I even had the chance to really live. I also credit my survival to the God I love and serve, because I know that if it hadn’t been for Him, I would not be here right now. God always knows what is best for us, therefore it is vital that we choose to trust Him and obey Him. The more that we set apart our lives apart for the Lord, the easier it is to hear Him speak to us. Which then allows us to walk in His purpose, and to understand what we are supposed to do next in our personal journey of faith”.
